Entry 2:

Today I am going to post my second blog entry, and the theme is: Something that happened in

my school today.

Today it was quite an enjoyable day for me. The day started with science lesson, before assembly I did some last minute revision on the periodic table and the notes on Chemical formulas which were very tough and tedious to memorise all of them. But I had full of confidence in myself as I did numerous of revision over the weekend. The test began right after the morning assembly as Mr Wong was slowly distributing the periodic tables, I peeped at the notes for the last time before stuffing them into my bag. As Mr Wong came to my table to distribute the periodic table for my row, I was aware directly out as last week I nearly tripped him. He even joked that if he really falls, there will be another tsunami attack at Indonesia. The test consisted of 50 formulas and the time given was indeed astonishing – 7mins. During the whole test, the whole class was very quiet; everyone seems to be engrossed in those formulas the only sound heard was the scribbling of pens on the paper. I was lucky to finish within 7mins, then we exchange papers with our partners for marking, my past few test marks were all atrocious. I was drenched with perspiration when my partner Bryan handed me my paper, straining my neck to see my marks, I heaved a sigh of relief after realising that I passed my test-37/50 and I could have score even better if I am more cautious while doing the test. I had written Carbon(C) as Ca, while methane (CH4) as CH5, tri-iodine (I3) as O3. If not I could have score like 45/50. But after all I learnt something from this test, practice makes perfect. This is because for the past few tests it was a surprise test hence from the lesson I knew that I must be prepared everyday in case there is surprise test. But indeed after these few days of learning I grew better in Chemistry.

Now the only thing I want is to finish my literature project as soon as possible, as to lighten my load of homework.

Ups it went , down it must come
