Entry 3:
Today I am going to write about a difficulty I faced.
The difficulty is something that most of us faced. It is keeping my body fit. After Wednesday’s P.E theory where we took our weight, I realised that my weight was quite inappropriate, as it was 49kg. I was planning to hit 45kg this year but I failed.
Keeping fit is an important aspect of our life and should be the top priority for everyone. Therefore I regard this issue very seriously and considered it as one of my greatest difficulty. There are many ways to keep fit, but sadly all contains an amount of difficulty no matter a little bit or a huge amount. Observing a well-balanced diet is crucial. This would mean consuming meals that have all the essential amounts of nutrients and cutting down and intake of “unhealthy foods”. But this is very difficult to control, as during school hours, the time is very rush every minutes you waste on what type of food is healthy and is good for me it is very difficult to “take” back the time you have lost. Thus in this case, one, in other to save time will simply buy a cup of instant noodles and gobbled the whole meal in a few minutes. Hence this is very difficult to solve.
Another difficulty faced in keeping my body fit is by exercising regularly, but in this busy life of a teenager, I would never have time to exercise regularly as my schedule is packed with assignments, homework, projects and tuitions, thus it is very difficult to allocate my time slot. The only chance I get to exercise and work out my body is during my CCA and Physical Education. My CCA’s Physical training usually last for an hour and P.E usually only last for 45minutes. Even though I get to exercise, but this is totally insufficient for an active teenager. But luckily I learnt how to overcome my difficulties, I got to start planning my time and reorganise my schedule to have some time to exercise regularly, I intended to exercise at least 5 times a week excluding CCA and P.E, every time lasting for about 20 minutes. I hope by the end of the year I can become into a fitter person.

Entry 2:

Today I am going to post my second blog entry, and the theme is: Something that happened in

my school today.

Today it was quite an enjoyable day for me. The day started with science lesson, before assembly I did some last minute revision on the periodic table and the notes on Chemical formulas which were very tough and tedious to memorise all of them. But I had full of confidence in myself as I did numerous of revision over the weekend. The test began right after the morning assembly as Mr Wong was slowly distributing the periodic tables, I peeped at the notes for the last time before stuffing them into my bag. As Mr Wong came to my table to distribute the periodic table for my row, I was aware directly out as last week I nearly tripped him. He even joked that if he really falls, there will be another tsunami attack at Indonesia. The test consisted of 50 formulas and the time given was indeed astonishing – 7mins. During the whole test, the whole class was very quiet; everyone seems to be engrossed in those formulas the only sound heard was the scribbling of pens on the paper. I was lucky to finish within 7mins, then we exchange papers with our partners for marking, my past few test marks were all atrocious. I was drenched with perspiration when my partner Bryan handed me my paper, straining my neck to see my marks, I heaved a sigh of relief after realising that I passed my test-37/50 and I could have score even better if I am more cautious while doing the test. I had written Carbon(C) as Ca, while methane (CH4) as CH5, tri-iodine (I3) as O3. If not I could have score like 45/50. But after all I learnt something from this test, practice makes perfect. This is because for the past few tests it was a surprise test hence from the lesson I knew that I must be prepared everyday in case there is surprise test. But indeed after these few days of learning I grew better in Chemistry.

Now the only thing I want is to finish my literature project as soon as possible, as to lighten my load of homework.

ENTRY 1:

Today I post my first blog entry for my blog assignment. The theme is: Something unusual that happened that day

Today my family and I went to Bugis Junction to shop. When lunch time approached, I suggested that we eat at a nearby fast food restaurant. However, as my father and mother was feeling hungry for rice, they insisted to go to a food centre. Reluctantly I agree with them as I do not want to disappoint them. At the food centre we ordered our food. My father then helps us to order some sugar cane juice from a store in the corner which was fairly clean. Halfway through the meal, my sister spotted something black in her drink, she strained her neck closer to her cup and realised that it was a fly in it. She then pointed it out to my parents and I, it was struggling. Apparently it has just fallen into the drink. The sight was really disgusting especially to my sister as she was afraid of creepy insects. My mother who was very "protective" of us "summoned" the stall owner helper, pointing at the fly and demanded an explanation. The helper began upset and raised his voice. The stall owner, upon seeing the scene rushed to our table, we explained to him what had happened. The stall owner believed that the fly had fallen into the drink after it was served, as there are quite a number of fly flying around the whole food centre and the fly was struggling in the drink that means it must have flown into the drink when it was placed on the table for some time. My father agreed with his explanation and apologised to him for causing him some trouble. With that the matter was settled. After that I when home a finished my maths homework. Fly in a drink was indeed unusual for my family as we never encountered such thing before I hope it would not happen again. From this incident I realised that one should not jump into conclusions before comfirming the cause of an incident, I also realised that cleanliness of a store is also very important as it can leave a wonderful impression for the customers.
